Project: Katy Perry "365" Feat. Zedd
Situation: For the launch of the single "365," global superstars Katy Perry and Zedd collaborated on a high-concept, visually ambitious music video with a distinct sci-fi narrative. A project of this scale, involving A-list artists and multiple major record labels (Atlantic and Interscope), demanded a flawless and highly complex post-production process to achieve its cinematic quality.
Task: As a key member of the post-production team, I was responsible for helping produce the critical final stages of the music video. My mission was to manage the finishing and color correction process, acting as the central point of contact for creative feedback. This involved overseeing the technical work of the visual effects artists while meticulously managing and translating notes from Katy Perry's creative team and executives at Atlantic Records to ensure the final product met their exacting standards.
Action: I immersed myself in the technical and logistical challenges of the project, ensuring a smooth path from offline edit to final delivery.
Creative & Technical Oversight: I worked directly with a team of elite Autodesk Flame artists, supervising the intricate finishing, VFX compositing, and beauty work required to bring the video's futuristic world to life.
High-Stakes Feedback Management: I managed the complex and fast-paced feedback loop between the artists and the post team. This involved carefully tracking, interpreting, and communicating notes directly from Katy Perry and Atlantic Records, ensuring their vision was implemented with precision.
Workflow Coordination: I helped maintain a streamlined workflow for reviews, versioning, and approvals, which was essential for keeping the project on a tight delivery schedule while accommodating multiple rounds of detailed creative changes.









Result: The post-production was completed successfully and on schedule, resulting in a visually stunning final product that realized the ambitious concept. My role in managing the flow of high-level creative notes was critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient finishing process, avoiding costly delays or misinterpretations. The "365" music video was a massive commercial success, amassing over 200 million views and earning widespread praise for its flawless execution and compelling visuals, contributing significantly to the single's global launch.
Reflection: This project was a masterclass in managing high-stakes creative feedback under pressure. It reinforced the importance of meticulous organization and clear communication when bridging the gap between world-class artists and the technical experts who bring their vision to the screen.
